On December 23, 2011 it was reported that an individual had forged some prescription forms and had medication filled at the local pharmacy for morphine. The reporting party had attempted contact with the doctor and his office prior to filling the prescription but to no avail. After filling the prescriptions he was contacted back and informed that they were forged. So he immediately contacted the Sheriff with the information. After collecting the copies of the prescriptions and signature of the suspect, Jason Riedinger, Deputy Strode arrested Riedinger for the forgery and possession of a controlled substance. He also had numerous outstanding warrants for other counties, to include Woodson County. Riedinger is currently being held in the Woodson County jail with no bond.
