On 10/27/2010 a Woodson County Deputy was dispatched to 672 Indian Rd in reference to copper wire being stolen from that location.
Upon arrival the deputy found that the theft occurred at an oil lease. Copper wire had been cut from the breaker box to the tank that was approximately 200 feet away. The reporting party stated that his father had noticed water leaking from the tank on 10/25/2010 so he shut the breaker off. When he returned the next day he noticed that the water was still pouring from the tank. This is when he noticed that the wire was missing. Therefore, it appears that the wire was stolen during the night or early morning hours of 10/25/2010. The value of the copper wire loss was placed at $200.00.
